Closed Star

Bars: 4.

Closed Star This is like a normal hands across star, except that not everyone uses the same hand. If the 1st corners join right hands, then the 2nd corners will join left hands, then all join free hands with the person you are facing, and 2nd corners back up while 1st corners dance forward.

History

This was invented by Fried de Metz Herman. The earliest dances I could find using it come from 2002, At Rainbow's End is one.
