Also known as: Cross and Cast down.

Bars: 4.

The active couple crosses by right shoulders (in Scottish by right hands) and then casts down one place while the 2s lead up (or move up along the sidelines).

History

In Jog on, my Honey from 1651, Playford says: The first cu. cross over, go below the 2. cu.
